Q: If you had to see one band before you died, who would it be?
A: COLDPLAY!

Words cannot describe how AMAZING Coldplay was! Hands down the best concert I've ever been to! (Sorry Jonas Brothers!)(And yes I love the JoBros! Judge me!)
When I first found out Coldplay would be touring the US for their a Head Full of Dreams album, I couldn't wait until pre-sale tickets would come out (of course I'm a part of their fan email list) Luckily I scored 4 tickets for the second cheapest tier so I could bring John, Janelle and her friend. YAAAAAS! Fast forward to August 20, 2016 7pm we finally get to see our favorite band.
First off, Rose Bowl parking is ridiculously expensive. If you want to park in the Rose Bowl it's $40 per car and an estimate of 2 hours to get out after the concert and the other option is parking at Parsons for $20 and shuttling for $5 per person roundtrip. We took option 2 with the shuttle because hell no will I walk 1.5 miles after the concert. I would rather walk in a shuttle line then walk back. Plus on the bright side we spent a few ours before the concert around Old Town Pasadena which is a darling little area with shopping and food. (Recommend going to the Pie Hole and getting Earl Grey Pie). Second off, they had stupid rules about the size purse you could bring. I have this small shoulder bag that literally fits only my wallet and a few lipsticks etc. and the security person said we would have to check it in for $10. We headed to the bag check-in and found out that the other gate were letting people in with bigger bags so my sister and I just went into that gate. Finally inside, we found our seats and listened to the opening act Bishop Briggs (She was great! Definitely listening to her music more) and Alessia Cara (Great also but I vibe more with Bishop Briggs, to be honest)
When the stars align.
While I was getting drinks and a hotdog I get a phone call from my sister saying that someone was giving out free floor seats and that she got two tickets but if I wanted to get tickets I had to run there to get them. Right when I heard free floor seats I made my way back as fast as I could to meet the magical yellow shirt free ticket giver. Hell no am I going to let the chance of floor seats pass me by. I couldn't believe it! We were sitting on the floor at a Coldplay concerts with a Free upgrade!!! Basically the four tickets I purchased for my group is equivalent to one of the seats there. We were set for an unforgettable night!
Just look how much happier I am in the second picture
COLDPLAY WAS LIT! LITERALLY! They gave each attendee a light up bracelet that were synchronized to flash a different colors during different songs they performed (It's like the World of Color Mickey Ears at Disneyland's California Adventure) Because everyone had a bracelet, it felt magical, like you were surrounded by a sea of glitter whenever the wristbands glowed. During one song they even had balloons in the crowd, I think it was during Hymn for the Weekend (Too bad Beyonce didn't come out) I'm probably wrong. They switched stages at one point and I realized they moved to a smaller stage in the back of the floor seat area. I booked it! We were about 20 feet away from the band and I could see Chris Martin's sweat coming down his face. They were all just so amazing!!! I can die happy having heard Clocks live, my absolute favorite song in the entire world!
