Spent a Saturday at my favorite place...DISNEYLAND & CALIFORNIA ADVENTURE!
Began the day a little rough...but gotta remember there's always good vibes around the corner and we were at Disneyland!!! 60 years of Disneyland and I can say every single time I go that this magical places still brings me joy and happiness. Though I don't have a pass anymore I am still a crazy Disneyland fanatic. Ever have a question or want to know the shortcuts and hidden places, I'm your girl. Seriously I can be a tour guide, I've watched enough documentaries to know a lot about the park without having ever worked there (though that is on my bucket list. I am unemployed right now...Lol. )
Finally tried the Carthay Circle Restaurant!!! It is a bit pricy (Lunch $31 & Dinner $62) but you get a 3 course meal and free World of Color tickets to a set section during the show. The restaurant commemorates the theater that first premiered Snow White (the movie that started it all) and boy is it stunning building. It has pictures of classic Walt Disney, production of films and the park. The service was amazing. Our waiter Jay was the nicest and gave great recommendations.
The new World of Color show celebrates Disneyland's 60th Anniversary. It was so random to see Neil Patrick Harris as the host of the show but I loved the original footage of Walt Disney and the Disneyland Park. I do miss the world of color because that theme sing is my jam! ("The world is a carousel of color...the wonderful world of color...lalalala")
Paint the night blew my mind! I am still listening to the song on repeat. They remixed Owl City's "When will I see you again" with all the classic songs of each float that you saw. There is even a little bit of the song from the original electric parade in it too. The costumes and floats lite up the night with clever ways to use lights. The end with Fantastmic Mickey had some crazy contraption of moving colors, I couldn't stop staring.
Overall it was a magical day. Thank you John for allowing us to celebrate 2 years of dating at my favorite places. (Gotta beware of Mickey because he can easily steal me away :P )

P.S. Beat John in ALL four games. Twice games in Toy Story Mania and twice at Buzzlight year (got kicked out at Disneyland by the end). I guess he doesn't get tired of losing. :P
Have you been to Disneyland? What's your favorite attraction? Have you ever eaten at the Carthay Restaurant?
